Innsbruck City in Tyrol
?The capital city Innsbruck with its sights is only 12 km from Hotel Stubai in the Stubai Valley. We recommend purchasing the reasonable Innsbruck Card directly at the reception. The card is valid 24 / 36 or 48 hours and includes all entries to the sights in the city like the Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens, the ski jump Berg Isel, the Alpenzoo, and the Patscherkofel and Hafelekar cable cars.
Day trip to South Tyrol?
The border to Italy is only 23 km from Hotel Stubai. Hence, the hotel enjoys the ideal location for a day trip to South Tyrol! Our tip: Look forward to a shopping spree in the old town of Vipiteno, a visit to the Ice Man Ötzi in the Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano or a walk through the enchanting botanic gardens of Trauttmannsdorff Castle in Merano. Innsbruck main train station and then with the Stubaital bus to Schönberg.
Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, freeriding, snow-shoe hiking or sledging in the Stubai Valley – the Stubai Valley offers all this for winter athletes in the vicinity of Schönberg. In close proximity you'll find four ski resorts: Stubai Glacier, Schlick2000, 11er lifts and the Serlesbahnen resort. All ski resorts can be reached with the free ski shuttle (bus stop directly at Hotel Stubai) or with the free public buses.
